Interview with Nader: how to turn bad experiences into a calling

Turning bad experiences into a calling

Nader attributes his career choice to the “bad teachers” he encountered during his education. Since he was a child, he perceived school as something distant and not centered on him, almost as if his time was a “second-hand” one. However, instead of developing resentment, he cultivated a deep affection for those places and people, transforming these experiences into a calling to teach.

The magic of everyday life

For Nader, there is no single moment that radically changes your life. He does not believe in epiphanies, but rather in the power of everyday life to reveal the essence of the profession of teaching. The mastery and ease with which the profession is practiced emerges day after day. According to Nader, it is the small daily moments that, added together, create the school atmosphere that former students will remember.

The universal language of children

Nader finds the most rewarding part of his job in the early hours of the first day of school and in those small gestures that show the connection between students. Whether it is a hug after a goal or mutual help before an exam, Nader emphasizes how, in these moments, children all speak the same language, creating a sense of community and belonging.

The silence of a fulfilled desire

A principle of innocence

The message that Nader wants to leave to the school community is that the innocence of children is a responsibility that every teacher must guard with care. This principle guides his daily work and his commitment to students, emphasizing the importance of protecting and enhancing the purity of young minds.
