{"id":2534,"date":"2023-12-02T16:43:57","date_gmt":"2023-12-02T15:43:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.educationk.com\/?page_id=2534"},"modified":"2024-01-21T16:45:06","modified_gmt":"2024-01-21T15:45:06","slug":"the-cinematography-lab","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.educationk.com\/en\/activities\/the-cinematography-lab\/","title":{"rendered":"The cinematography lab"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Understanding the world through the eye of the camera<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cinema has told us stories that by now are part of our imaginary. <strong>Film education means giving the necessary tools to understand the narrative dynamics the media use today.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks to the cinematography lab the students will be able to understand the mechanisms and the syntax of the language of cinematography. The lessons are organized with a methodology of participation where the students are an active part in creating content.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The experts working at the Cineteca of Bologna ( a place for archival conservation and restoration, for the promotion and dissemination of cinema and audiovisual) will help the children through the different phases of making a film, from its conception to the editing phase.\u00a0<\/strong>Just like on a real set everybody has a role and together they will create a film crew : from the camera operator to the cinematographer, from the script supervisor to the sound engineer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Phases of the project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Learning to watch<\/strong>: recognizing and understanding the storyline, the script, the storyboard and the crew.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Editing :<\/strong> with the help of a professional software, digital video cameras and a microphone, children will be able to create their own film.
