Kinder Haus International School
Nursery School
Our nursery school is called Kinder Haus International School and it is situated in a special location: an Italian villa built at the beginning of the nineteenth century. The villa with garden is located on the first hill of Bologna and it was turned into a nursery school more than fifty years ago. It’s a very welcoming and family-friendly environment and its spaces have been organized in order to facilitate the daily activities of our young guests. It is also possible to reach the outside area directly. This area is also equipped for playing and for practising other physical activities. There is also a swimming pool and a green area which the children use as an orchard.
Kinder College International School
Preschool, Elementary School, Three-lingual Experimental School, Middle School, International High School
The school site of our elementary and middle school is called Kinder College International School and it is located inside an ancient convent which dates back to the XVth century (it was founded in 1407) . The convent is immersed in the peace of the first hills of Bologna. With its 22 hectares of fields and woods, this is a very charming place and it’s also easy to reach from the city. Only two minute drive from Porta San Mamolo, in the heart of the city centre).
The outdoor area is surrounded and protected by a thick vegetation. This is ideal for running, playing and for the occasional outdoor lesson. Spacious places for the students’ activities are also available: volleyball courts, basketball courts and grassy football fields. Inside the school there are 15 classrooms, two small libraries, a film theatre and an ancient refectory which dates back to 1600, with frescoes and built in wood. There are also several laboratories dedicated to the teaching of classical and modern music, information technology, science and a music room for rehearsals and for recording the tracks played by the students.
