The emotion of discovery
Learning is much easier if it is joined by the emotion of discovery. Thanks to experimentation, science and technology become fascinating subjects. They also become concrete and real, free from their abstract formulas.
For this reason our school has consolidated its collaboration with “La Scuola delle idee” ( the school of ideas ) of the Fondazione Golinelli, (the Golinelli Foundation ) by including in its programme a set of scientific and technological labs over the course of the year.
These laboratories are also an opportunity for students to learn about « the scientific method », in other words discovery through experimentation, the connection between cause and effect and proof of theories. The teaching methods are innovative and scientifically rigorous. They focus on the informal approach, on curiosity and on the desire to learn, which belongs to all children.
